Submittal of articles for our newsletter

All articles of the newsletter are written in Microsoft Word and are then transferred to PageMaker where text and graphics are combined and arranged for each page. After visually checking for errors and appearance, the newsletter is taken to the printer on a CD-ROM disc. In the preparation phase, most time is spent on layout work, the selection of graphics, but also on typing and editing. If you are typing your newsletter article on a computer anyway, it would really help, if you would send it to us by e-mail. There never is enough time, but this would certainly reduce the typing effort. The e-mail addresses are: joeneulinger@aol.com or nikomess@aol.com. Articles can also be sent to us by fax: 314-842-1813; this speeds submittal time but would also mean retyping.

There is, of course, always the possibility of handing articles in person to Sepp Neulinger or mailing them to the Hall: Newsletter, 3652 South Jefferson Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63118.

Any way you do it, the sooner we receive the information, the better the outcome will be. To appear in a certain issue, articles or comments must be received no later than:

February 15 for the spring issue
June 5 for the summer issue, and
October 25 for the Thanksgiving issue.

 

 

Please get your articles in on time so that we can get the newsletter out to our members on the target date. Thank you for your cooperation and help.
