On May 9th the school had its traditional picnic to celebrate the end of the school year.
Students and teachers, their families and friends ate Bratwurst and pork steak from G&W, a local German butcher.
The students brought the side dishes and desserts. Lecker, lecker (yummy).
Outside the main pavilion of Blackburn Park in Webster Groves: Students enjoy the warm spring weather.
Principal Carmen Freeman organized the picnic. She and her husband (a student of four years at the school) enjoyed the final event of this school year.
“It is wonderful to talk to all the students”, she says. “During each school year, camaraderie develops between the students and at the picnic we are like a big family.”
Students, their families and friends enjoy the sporadic rays of the Spring sun.
From the youngest to the oldest of students, everyone is having a good time.
The teachers and the principal of the school wish everyone: “A splendid Summer.”
