School days are usually cancelled due to inclement conditions. Cancellations may occur
due to causes beyond our control, such as quarantines, required building maintenance,
school or church events at Abiding Savior, etc. Cancelled days will be rescheduled by
The German School Association and added as Saturdays at the end of our school calendar.
The additional Saturdays will extend no later than the week before Memorial Day.
Students and parents should always check e-mails and voice-mails before coming to school.
School cancellations are announced via e-mail and by phone with a message left on the
voice-mail if no one is available. Because of ever changing weather conditions, e.g.
snow fall during the night, the President and Principal may decide on Saturday morning
to cancel school. If you are in doubt whether classes will be held, please call your
